START TRACKING YOUR PROGRESS
Build a history of your FIRE plan
Save your plan with a free account, then add check-ins to see how your projected FIRE age changes across devices.
The calculator stays free without an account. Account availability is checked when this page opens.
Free / paid product preview — no payment
This private preview simulates two free plans versus additional plans and a paid decision review. It does not change your account tier or charge you.
Check-ins, edits, existing tools, Community, exports and recovery stay available. This previews new-plan limits; imports and existing records remain accessible. These are not server-enforced commercial entitlements.

Projection under your saved assumptions, not a guarantee. The portfolio target is in the purchasing power of your check-in date.

This date is part of your private plan backup and syncs when you use an account. The optional calendar file is generated on this device with a generic title and no financial amounts, plan name or account identifier. No email or notifications are sent.

Entered savings over time
Check-ins only. Amounts are entered balances in each date's money, not verified investment performance. Different currencies are never joined into one line.
How this comparison works
All chart values and forecast availability
| Check-in date | Entered balance | Prior forecast date | Prior forecast balance | Comparison |
|---|
Original saved results and input changes
These preserve what each check-in showed when saved. Use the chart above to compare under your current assumptions.
Balance versus the earlier forecast
| Changed input | Earlier | Later |
|---|
These changes explain which assumptions you edited. Their effects interact; this is not a breakdown of investment returns or an additive attribution.
Check-ins and alternatives
| As of | Type | Invested savings | FIRE date | Actions |
|---|
Corrections preserve the original in your history and backup. Deleting a snapshot is separate. Reopening uses its original inputs; a new calculation uses the current engine.
Explore your alternatives
Hypothetical plans stay separate from entered check-ins. Open one to review its assumptions in the calculator.
EXPLORE CHANGES
What would these changes do?
Try contribution, retirement spending, or both together. Comparing or saving an alternative does not change your plan.

PAID FEATURE PREVIEW · NO CHECKOUT
Find a path to your target age
Test combinations within your contribution and retirement-spending limits, including a second, lower return assumption. Keep the choices that meet your target with less change on either lever.

| Extra contribution / month | Less retirement spending / month | FIRE age: saved return | FIRE age: lower return | Keep for later |

A bounded grid, not a continuous optimum: up to 11 levels per lever, rounded down to cents, including zero and your limits. All other inputs and events are retained. Meeting an age target is not a retirement-safety test. Saving keeps the chosen combination and both return cases in your existing comparisons; it does not alter your check-ins.

DETAILED REVIEW
These are hypothetical model outcomes, not guarantees or observed returns. Financial amounts use each projection date's purchasing power. Extra-year spending capacity is portfolio-only, at the selected withdrawal rate; it excludes other retirement income and is not a safe-spending recommendation.

COMPARE GROUPS
How does this vary by age?
These are different groups of submitted plans, not a forecast of how one plan will progress with age. Each statistic uses its own eligible sample.

Each card shows the middle value and the range containing the middle half of eligible profiles.
About these statistics
The median is the middle entered value. The shaded band spans the lower to upper quartile and contains the middle 50%. Quartiles cannot tell you an exact personal percentile.
Main statistics need at least 100 eligible profiles per metric; coarse optional statistics need 50. Invalid entries and extreme tails are excluded per metric. Missing optional features are not counted as zero.
Global views compare ratios and assumptions. Monetary statistics require a single currency. A country label describes the recorded country paired with that currency; it is not verified residence. Different places and households have different living costs.
These statistics come from a reviewed data release, not a live feed. Saving a check-in does not refresh this sample.
Private history is never submitted to this pool by saving a plan. These distributions describe planning inputs and scenarios; being above the median does not mean it is safe to retire.
